With all the numbers in for 2011, the final total looks like 1,315 homes sold in Anderson County for the year – down 4.3% from 2010. It’s official – again! Nobody sells more residential real estate in Anderson County that the Elizabeth Gray-Carr Team. After the 2010 home buyer tax credit pushed demand forward last year, home sales this year have fallen behind by about 10%. The results are in and, once again, U.S. RE/MAX agents outsold all competitors by a considerable margin in 2010. Since March 2010 a nice trend has been building with each month besting the year before sales. But that streak ended in July, with home sales dropping more than 20% from July 2009. Can’t take your laptop with you while you go out house hunting? No problem if you have a smart phone, just visit our new mobile website at m.CallElizabeth.com to view all the area homes for sale, complete with pictures and details. The National Association of Realtors says we could operate a VOW – Virtual Office Website – that would give you more details about homes than we are currently allowed to show. The catch is they say we have to make visitors register with us first. Would you do that? Halfway through the year, and things are definitely looking better. Total sales are up by over 20% and the average sales price up by nearly 2%. The Western Upstate Multiple Listing service has finally allowed us to add the ability to seach for bank owned homes to our website! With 2009 sales figures in, we’ve sold more Anderson County real estate that any one else! And RE/MAX ends the year with nearly double the sales of our closest competitor. |
