Home sales in Anderson County continued to struggle as homes sales dropped 26% from July of last year. After months of preparation and remodeling, a new RE/MAX office is nearing completion in Anderson! February turned out to be a pretty good month, with both the number of homes sold and average sales price showing double-digit increases from last year. In slower markets, we try all kinds of non-traditional ways to help people buy and sell homes. One idea we’ve tried is bringing the right buyer and seller together to trade homes. There’s a difference between price and cost, and right now they are both good for home buyers! The Western Upstate Multiple Listing service has finally allowed us to add the ability to seach for bank owned homes to our website!
